16 Things All Pug Owners Should Know

#13 Do pugs get bored?

Some Pugs simply do not know what to do with themselves. If their human is away from home or busy, they can become lonely, stressed, bored, or outright frustrated.

#14 Do pugs need to go outside?

In simple terms, Pugs have not been bred to be outdoor dogs. Being sensitive to cold, they can become dehydrated and suffer with hypothermia in dangerously low temperatures. They are breed that you really need to take special care of in cold winter temperatures.

#15 Are pugs indoor or outdoor dogs?

Pugs are NOT outdoor animals and should never be left outdoors unattended. Because of its “pushed in” face, the Pug has a shorter breathing passage and is highly susceptible to extremes in temperature, especially heat, so you must be very careful not to over exert the Pug in times of warm or hot weather.
