In military service, however, the collie proved itself as a medical and reporting dog. In the 20s and later because of the Lassie films in the 60s he was a fashion dog with all the negative consequences.

#8 The Collie is an adaptable, affectionate, family-oriented, submissive dog with great intelligence.

#9 Unfortunately, it is often viewed as a decorative item and its abilities wither away.
