While mere walks far under challenge other dog breeds, this is completely sufficient for the lively four-legged friend. The animal is not suitable for dog sport because of its physical condition and state of health. Excessive exertion should be avoided because the flat face makes it difficult to breathe, even when at rest. In terms of fitness, the Japanese Chin is not made for sporting activities.
