A house with a garden in the country is ideal. Keeping them in a small apartment in the middle of a big city would not be recommended without further ado.
#9 The physically and mentally strong, tough dog needs a master or mistress with dog sense, a clear message and consistency on the basis of friendly, respectful cooperation.
The Australian Cattle Dog can be trained well by a person with dog sense. He is open and honest and likes to work with his owners.
