#7 Another difference to other dog breeds is that the Chihuahua bsi 2010 had a fontanelle (skull plates not fully merging) – even in adulthood.

#8 Since then, this skull deformation is no longer desired in adult animals, as it poses a great risk of injury for the dogs.

#9 The Chihuahua is not only popular like the proverbial colorful dog, but is also represented in almost all coat colors: from white and blond to dark brown, black and tan to blue-black.
