Basset Hounds see themselves as equal people. Moreover, living for a long time in the same family, the dog adopts the features of the owners and becomes similar to them. There is no doubt that if a basset owner likes to sit in a certain chair, then the dog will lie there too.
Despite the fact that bassets look like fat bumps, they really are not at all. It looks like a slow and amusing dog, but if it wants to play or goes hunting, it turns into a very agile and tireless hunter, able to run for several hours in a row.
