The cute and adorable Basset Hound breed was bred in England and the system in the middle of the 20th century. The name of the breed consists of two English words, which translate as: “perch” – low and “hound” – hound, which explains the purpose of the breed. Behind the comical appearance of the Basset Hound, there is a real hunter, it is distinguished by its ultra-high sensitivity, endurance, and outstanding hunting qualities.
