#10 The collie is a medium-sized, long-haired dog.
Its dense fur with a strong undercoat gives it a powerful and at the same time elegant appearance. The mane in the neck area and the tail covered with long hair are particularly striking. British Collie males are between 56 and 61 centimeters tall, and females are between 51 and 56 centimeters. An American Collie male reaches a height of up to 66 centimeters at the withers. American line bitches are a few centimeters shorter.
