12 Tips to Help Your Beagle Sleep

#7 Cozy ambience

You should make an effort to find the right place to sleep for your Beagle puppy. The place should be close to you, and of course it has to be cozy. Buy a cozy pillow and blanket for your new addition to the family. Then you will not have a guilty conscience that your own bed is taboo for the puppy.

#8 Nocturnal pee breaks

If your puppy sleeps indoors, it may initially need one to three pee breaks a night. Puppies are not yet able to last that long and need to relieve themselves every few hours.

And of course, they don't like to sleep in a sleeping box they put in out of sheer necessity.

So it is very important that you take your puppy outside briefly at night. Of course, if you have your own garden, that's perfect. A two-month-old puppy can last 2-3 hours. But the potty breaks have to be. Take him outside calmly and without much fuss, let him do his business, and put him back in the sleeping box immediately.

Very important! Avoid playing, cuddling, or paying much attention to the puppy during pee breaks. Because then he gets really excited and wants to stay awake. You have to make him understand that these breaks are for his business only.

#9 Make the indoor kennel “puppy friendly”

A peaceful, good night's sleep is only possible when you create a quiet bed. Buy a super soft blanket, e.g. from Allisandro or from LeerKing. Then add the chew toy and your pup will feel comfortable because security is important.
