#13 By 1930, the final breed standard was formed with protruding ears, white coat and short back.

#14 The first champion of the breed was Ch. Morvan in 1905, owned by Colin Young.

But at that time the dog was like a Scottish Terrier and won the title on the Scottish Kennel Club show at the age of seven months. The individual West Highland White Terrier breed did not exist at that time, the title of champion was not retained when the dog was re-registered as the West Highland White Terrier.

#15 The first victory of the West Highland White Terrier in a major show was used at the Westminster Dog Show in 1942 when Chance Constance Winant Ch. The Woolvey Edgerstone pattern received the title of “Best dog in the show”.
