#10 The first West Highland White Terrier breed club was established in 1904.

It was led by Niall Campbell (Niall Campbell), 10th Duke of Argyll.

#11 In 1907, the first kennel was officially registered, and in the same year, two dogs of this breed were brought to the USA.

#12 After appearing in the “New World”, the breed gained new popularity, and hence the diminutive nickname Westie.
