Make Your Own Easter Candy for the Dog

It’s Easter and of course, the dog should get a little extra good! Before the weekend’s exercises, we top up with homemade exercise candy.

The candy consists only of pure beef, for example, Swedish French. A little luxurious, of course, but a top candy without additives with high value for the dog. For the tough assignments then.

Do this:

Put the whole piece in a firm shape, leave the net if there is one. Bake at 150 degrees in the middle of the oven for about 3 hours, until the meat is cooked through. Allow to cool, cut into pieces and freeze.

Then feel free to place the pieces in small bags/jars in the freezer. It is practical to have the right amount for a training session pre-packaged, especially if you tend to train a little too long sometimes. If the candy is finished, it’s time for jumping and playing instead.

The frying pan can advantageously be diluted a little with water and frozen in small cubes and used as a seasoning on dry food or to make the dog drink better when it is hot outside.
