Cheap and popular dog candy that is also super easy to make yourself. Remember to choose a blood pudding that does not contain onions.
You Need:
- Blood pudding
- Gingerbread mold in mini format
Directions:
Set the oven to about 100 degrees.
1. Cut the blood pudding into thin slices. Punch out the hearts using a small gingerbread mold that looks like a heart.
2. Place the hearts on a plate with parchment paper and dry them in the oven, preferably a convection oven, for about 30-45 minutes, depending on the thickness. Turn the pieces a few times during the drying time.
Allow to cool and store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
