Does the Dog Need Dog Friends?

Some say that dogs do not need friends. But is there anything weirder than dogs playing and cuddling together?

Do dogs need to be socialized with other dogs or not? There are many opinions. Some people say that if you go back to the dogs’ origins, the wolves, they often live on their own. So dogs do not need friends. But now our dogs are not wolves, but for a long time socialized creatures, who are also often curious about most people regardless of breed or species. Even though they usually keep their people closest to each other, there are as many examples as possible of dogs that enjoy each other’s closeness and company. And of course, it is something very special to look at dogs that play with each other in a way that we two-legged have a hard time matching. Dogs that so obviously have fun together. Or dogs that use each other as something soft and nice to lean on when you want to rest for a while.

A bit like with people then. Sometimes it’s nice to be alone, sometimes you want someone to be close to.
