No matter from what height a cat falls to the ground, it always lands on its feet – at least that’s what people think.
In many cases, this is even the case, since cats have the so-called righting reflex, which causes the four-legged friend to turn automatically during a fall.
In order for this rotation to succeed, however, a certain basic drop height is required. If the cat falls from a comparatively low height, the chances that the furry nose will not be able to cushion its fall with its paws increase.
