Chihuahua puppies can tremble for a variety of reasons:
- stress
- fear
- uncertainty
- cold
- illness (e.g. fever)
- hypoglycemia
- excitement
- joy
With very delicate Chihuahua puppies, hypoglycemia should always be considered. For example, if you got the puppy before the 12th week or if it has a very low weight. Several small meals can keep blood sugar levels constant. You should also always carry a little sugar solution with you in case of an emergency. If other factors can be ruled out, it may be hypoglycemia.
