Delivery up to the 12th week of life
Up to the 12th week of life, you should feed the Chihuahua puppy 4-5 times a day. Distributed the daily ration evenly over these meals. This prevents hypoglycemia.
Until the 1st birthday
After that, you only need to feed the puppy 3 times a day until he is about a year old. After that, two meals are enough.
Adult Chihuahua
However, this varies greatly from person to person. Many owners prefer to feed the adult Chihuahua three times, as this is often better tolerated.
However, if your Chihuahua gets plenty of treats and snacks in between, the daily ration must of course be reduced. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a puppy or an adult Chi.
