Chihuahua or Poodle?

Poodles are among the smartest four-legged friends in the dog world. They are people-related through and through, very playful and persistent. Poodles are considered to get along well with other dogs, are easy to train, and are ideal family dogs.

Toy poodles weigh 2-4 kg and are around 24-28 cm tall. This makes them slightly larger and sometimes heavier than a Chihuahua. The Poodle’s dense and curly coat requires regular combing and brushing. Scissors are also a must. Poodles have a life expectancy of up to 15 years.

Please do not decide based on appearance alone, but familiarize yourself with the requirements, special features, and character of the respective breed. Are there any special problems (sensitive stomach, hunting instinct, behavior) or diseases within the breed? Which breed suits you and your lifestyle better?
