Long hair of the dog needs grooming – it needs to be combed out two to three times a week. Some wearers opt for regular haircuts to have fewer grooming worries. The Pekingese breed does not tolerate heat well, keep this in mind.
They can quickly gain weight and become obese if you do not control their diet. Keep your pet’s ears and eyes clean, and trim its nails three times a month. The dog is bathed once or twice a week. Also, make sure that the folds on the face are always dry and clean.
