#6 The appearance of the goldie
Female Golden Retrievers reach a height of 56 cm and males 61 cm. Their weight is between 30 and a maximum of 40 kg. As already mentioned, the working line is significantly slimmer, but both types have a muscular neck, agile physique, and shapely head. Their medium-sized floppy ears and dark eyes give them a certain cuteness.
Unlike yellow Labrador Retrievers, Goldies have longer coats that are wavy and have a dense undercoat. Its coloring, which can vary from light beige to gold and cream, is certainly one reason for the great appeal of this breed. This fur is also practical: When swimming, hardly any moisture penetrates to Goldie's skin.
