Vaccinations: Cat Disease, Rabies
Cat disease is a potentially fatal gastrointestinal disease. Vaccination is highly recommended here – the symptoms are often bad, especially in younger animals. This also applies to rabies, primarily in the case of outdoor cats. Leukemia is a viral disease that is transmitted through saliva. Kittens, for example, can become infected through their mother’s milk. Vaccinations can save lives here.
Immunization in Cats: Tips
Immunization against cat flu is also important. What is a mild cold for us and therefore not serious, can be more than dangerous for cats. In the worst case, the lungs can be infected with bacteria. Especially if several velvet paws live together and/or they can go outside, you should think about vaccination. However, keep in mind that such vaccinations cannot offer 100% reliable protection – similar to the flu vaccination in humans. The so-called cat flu complex vaccination consists of four types: feline herpesvirus, feline calicivirus, chlamydia.
