That dogs get sick sometimes is inevitable. Therefore, it is good to be a little extra vigilant about the symptoms. Here are the most common diseases:
Uterine inflammation
Keep an eye out for Persistent, bloody discharge, decreased appetite if the dog becomes extra thirsty, and fever.
Skin tumors
Keep an eye out for Warts and lumps of fat.
Juvenile tumor
Keep an eye out for Swelling or a lump on the underside of the abdomen in the udder tissue.
Ear inflammation
Keep an eye out: If the dog hangs its head and reacts when you touch its ears. Look for discolored secretions and smells in the ear. (Brown earwax can indicate yeast infection, yellow on bacteria.) A bad smell is also a sign.
Traumatic skin injuries (cuts, bite wounds, abrasions, stab wounds, etc.)
Keep track of Boils. Consult a veterinarian in case of bite injuries. Keep in mind that even small wounds can cause major damage.
