In the golden retriever, which is a very popular dog breed in Sweden, cancer is the most common disease. The most common reasons why chihuahuas and dachshunds need to go to the vet are due to stomach problems. Labradors are five times more likely to have joint problems than elbows and shoulders than other dogs.

Uterine inflammation common in many dogs

- Uterine inflammation
- Skin tumors
- Juvertumör
- Otitis
- Traumatic skin injuries (cuts, bite wounds, abrasions, stab wounds, etc.)
Although uterine inflammation only affects bitches, according to statistics, it is the most common diagnosis in our dogs – every fourth bitch is affected. If your female has a stomach ache, decreased appetite, drinks, and urinates more than usual, it could be uterine inflammation. Fortunately, the symptoms are usually clear and you can quickly take your dog to the vet.
