Is Your Cat Right Or Left Handed?

Even cats have a paw that they prefer to use. We show how you can easily find out whether your cat is a small right- or left-pawed cat.

The experiment is simple: all you need is a jar and some treats your cat likes. Of course, your cat must want to play too, but the little extra food ration is certainly a good incentive.

Put the treat in the jar and watch your feline friend. Now all you have to do is see which paw your cat is using to fish the treat out of the jar. Repeat the procedure a few times to be sure.

Researchers have found that the preferred paw is mostly determined by the gender of the cat. Cats tend to be left-handed, while cats tend to be right-handed.

Anyone who has their own little adventurers knows that they get along very well with both paws. But try it out and see if your darling also has a favorite!
