We inherited this little treasure with the strange name Chihuahua from the most ancient North American cultures. According to one version, the first Chihuahuas appeared on the island of Yucatan among the Maya tribes, and then came to the Toltecs and Aztecs. For the Indian peoples, Chihuahuas played the role of sacred animals and magical talismans. The belief in their miraculous abilities was so great that each dog received a servant at the personal disposal, whose duties included feeding and caring for the animal.
To this day, the attitude towards the Chihuahua remains special. These dogs are one of the most popular decorative breeds in the world, and some dog breeders sincerely believe that Chihuahuas are nothing more than an amulet that brought happiness to their home.
