They are one of the world’s most popular herding breeds. They are affectionate, loyal, smart, and alert. There are two distinct breeds of Corgis: The Cardigan Welsh Corgi and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate and companionable without being needy. They are whip-smart, so their owners should be, too.
