The Corgi is a small to medium-sized dog, standing at 25 to 30cm, and weighs between 10 to 14kg. The coat of the Corgi is fairly short to medium length and is thick. They are one of the world’s most popular herding breeds. They are affectionate, loyal, smart, and alert. There are two distinct breeds of Corgis: The Cardigan Welsh Corgi and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate and companionable without being needy. They are whip-smart, so their owners should be, too.
