Eagle Species and Their Nesting Preferences

Bald eagles, for example, prefer to nest in large trees near water sources, while golden eagles prefer to nest on rocky cliffs or in high mountains. Harpy eagles, found in Central and South America, nest in the tops of tall trees in tropical rainforests.
