You should not bathe the dog too often. But sometimes a bath is needed, for example, if the dog has rolled in something disgusting. Here’s how to do it step by step.
When you wet the dog, at the same time move your hand through the dog’s fur towards the plant. Then the water penetrates better.
Mix one shampoo with two parts of water, a thinner shampoo is easier to distribute evenly. Massage in carefully. You take the face and neck last.
“Lift” the coat with your hand when rinsing out the shampoo to remove everything. Be careful, you can not rinse too much.
Avoid showering in the ears. Feel free to put in some cotton wool
in them before the bath begins.
Rub the coat as dry as possible and then blow-dry the dog from the buttocks forward. It is important that the coat is completely dry, especially on dogs with double coats.
Keep in mind that too much washing is not good, it can cause itching, for example. Use as a mild shampoo as possible.
