She is also extremely talkative and often babbles to herself all day.

Due to the boom in the 1950s, the Siamese faced many health problems. Many Siamese had kinked tails and poor immune systems.
Even if the Siamese is now very robust and can get very old, it still suffers from some hereditary diseases. These include, for example, diseases of the eye system such as squint and eye tremors, but also progressive retinal atrophy (retinal atrophy).

So-called endocardial fibroelastosis, a thickening of the inner wall of the heart, is an inherited disease among the Siamese. This can even lead to heart failure.
The persistent ductus arteriosus, a lack of closure of the fetal short-circuit connection between the aorta and the pulmonary vascular trunk, causes problems for the Siamese again and again.
