The Bombay cat is a sweet tomboy with a feisty, affectionate personality. It looks and almost acts like a little panther at times like a dog.
Their small, stocky build and glossy black coat give Bombay their distinctive appearance. In some respects, their nature makes them a little different from other cats.
Bombay Cat: Always Wants To Be There
The Bombay is a cuddly, lively, and sometimes almost pushy cat. It likes to purr extensively and its trustworthiness is remarkable. Don’t be surprised if a representative of this breed suddenly jumps onto your shoulder and makes herself comfortable there – these four-legged friends like to do that. You just like the closeness of your people and delight in dealing with children with their patient, cuddly nature.
Retrieving & Learning Tricks: No Problem for This Cat
The Bombay cat loves its people and is so affectionate and trusting that it often resembles a dog. But other typical characteristics of the velvet paw also contribute to this: walking on a leash, fetching, and learning tricks is no problem at all for many of the clever and eager to learn four-legged friends.
The rare breed of cat also loves to play. Practice a few tricks with her if you want to do her a favor, as this is great fun for most Bombay cats and keeps them physically and mentally busy.
