How to take care of rabbits
The rabbit always needs the opportunity to run away. If you hold it tightly in your arm, it can panic and suffer from the stress. Let your rabbit come to you and pet them if they will. Don’t hold the rabbit up, always give it a chance to escape.
How can I let my rabbit run free in the garden?
Yes, rabbits can generally be let loose in the garden. However, you should take a few precautions to ensure your rabbits have a safe run around and ensure their maximum well-being. The breed of your rabbits also plays a big role.
How do you keep rabbits outside?
Rabbits are sensitive to heat, so the enclosure should be half sunny, half shade (near the tree). In summer, depending on the sunshine, a parasol must provide additional shade. The outlet must be unfertilized and free of pesticides. Poisonous plants must not be accessible.
Can you put rabbits inside outside?
From about 15 degrees daily temperature, rabbits can be set free by the hour. At colder temperatures only for a short time, never for hours. If the rabbits can return to their usual temperature at any time (cat flap, open door), you can give them a warm welcome at any time (even when it’s freezing!).
What temperature can rabbits withstand?

Can you cuddle with rabbits?

Rabbits are interactive and particularly noisy at night. They knock, throw objects, gnaw, chase each other, rattle their bowls, or jump on the bed.
Can you keep a rabbit in the apartment?
Rabbits need a lot of space to be able to move in a manner appropriate to their species and not to get bored. At least 6m² of floor space (e.g. 2x3m, without floors) should also be available day and night in the apartment. The unobstructed area should not be less than 4m².
When can young rabbits go outside?

Is it bad if a rabbit gets wet?
Rabbit skin is very thin, delicate, and sensitive. If the animal gets wet, the fur no longer functions as protection. The skin is, therefore, more susceptible to injuries such as scratches or tears. It can also become dry, itchy, or inflamed.
Can a rabbit get a fever?
The temperature of rabbits should not be below 38.5 degrees, with stress there is an increase in temperature, which should not be confused with fever.
How do I know if my rabbit has a fever?
As the increased blood flow circulates over the ears, they heat up. As the blood “drains” from the ears, they become cooler than the animal’s general body temperature. It should not be below 38.5 degrees.
