Recipe Golden Turmeric Paste

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 l vegetable broth
  • 60g fresh grated or ground turmeric
  • 70ml coconut oil
  • 1 dosing spoon of propolis powder
  • 1g freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Stir the turmeric into the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Continue cooking on low until a chewy paste forms.
  2. Remove the turmeric paste from the heat and add the remaining ingredients. Mix everything together well and let the paste cool down.
  3. If the consistency is too chewy, add some more vegetable broth.

Feed Golden Turmeric Paste Properly

We recommend slowly getting your dog used to the paste . It is best to start with a pinch of the golden paste once a day for feeding. Feed your four-legged friend this amount for 3-4 days. If your dog does not show any side effects such as diarrhea or vomiting, you can slowly increase the dosage and feed it several times a day.

Tip: It is best to feed the golden paste with food. Because turmeric is fat-soluble and is better absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract in combination with fatty foods.

Feeding recommendation:

  • Small dogs up to 10 kg – 1/4 teaspoon twice a day
  • Medium-sized dogs up to 25 kg – ½ tsp 2-3 times daily
  • Large dogs over 25 kg – 1 teaspoon twice a day
