Easy Recipes: Yummy Candy for the Puppy

There are a variety of recipes for dog treats that are both easy and fun to make yourself. These two recipes contain clean and good ingredients with a nice texture for your sweetheart. Fits both the puppy and the adult dog!

Sure, it takes some time, but making your own dog candy is a great way to make sure your four-legged friend gets good ingredients. Dried blood pudding and minced meat are two good examples of things that most dogs like. Here we share recipes on how to do it at home:

Dried blood pudding

Cut the blood pudding into small cubes.

Turn on the oven on low heat – about 100 degrees.

Place the pieces in an ovenproof dish lined with parchment paper.

You can dry the candy pieces from 30 minutes to a couple of hours depending on how dry you want the pieces to be. Feel for yourself when the texture is the way your dog likes.

Ready to be enjoyed by your dog.

Minced meat candy

Mix about 400 grams of minced meat with two eggs and a tablespoon of flour. A tip is to use fiber husk which is good for the puppy’s stomach and makes the batter easier to hold together, without you having to use gluten.

Spread the batter on a sheet of parchment paper. Feel free to get the batter as even and thin as possible to get a good size of the candy pieces.

Place the plate with the batter in the oven at approximately 175 degrees. You can also keep the door slightly open for any water vapor to come out.

Remove the plate after half an hour, or when the batter is dry on the top.

Turn the batter over and cut it into oblong strips.

Insert the plate again for a few minutes so that the previous underside also becomes dry.

Take them out of the oven and cut the candy strips into small pieces.

Once they have cooled, they are ready to serve to your doggy.
