16 Things Every French Bulldog Owner Should Remember

French bulldogs don’t require a lot of exercises. They have fairly low energy levels, although there are exceptions. However, in order to keep their weight down, they need daily exercise, in the form of short walks and/or playtime in the garden.

#1 Many French Bulldogs love play and spend their time in a variety of activities, however they do not have the energy levels to require large yards or long periods of exercise.

#2 This breed is prone to heat exhaustion and should not be exercised in hot temperatures. Limit walks and active play to cool mornings and evenings.

#3 When training a French bulldog, keep in mind that while they are intelligent and usually want to please their owners, they are also free thinkers.

This means they can be very stubborn.
