#19 The Czechoslovakian Wolfhound is a very healthy and hardy breed of dog.
#20 On average, they can live an incredible 13 to 16 years.
Nevertheless, the rarity of the breed causes problems with inbreeding and the resulting hereditary diseases.
#21 Because the German shepherd dog is one of its ancestors, the Czechoslovakian wolfhound is also counted in FCI group 1. It can be found in Section 1 among other German Shepherd breeds.
There aren't many breeders that specialize in the Czechoslovak Wolfhound. Furthermore, the female only comes into the heat once a year. Four to eight puppies are possible per litter.
