The well-being of Boston Terriers is highly dependent on the weather since heat exchange processes in the body of animals are somewhat inhibited. For example, they quickly become supercooled, and on hot days they can get heatstroke.
Unlike other brachycephalic dogs, “Bostons” do not suffer from excessive salivation, and their muzzles always remain dry and tidy.
The breed is famous for its amazing delicacy and politeness, which is why its representatives are often called “American gentlemen”.
