Mary Allen
The Lagotto Romagnolo, or Romagna lake dog, is an ancient breed of aquatic game carrier dogs, native to the Comacchio lowlands and the Ravenna swamps.
These large swamps were drained, this dog began to be used to search for truffles in the plains and hills of Italy, where it has proven itself very well. The breed was recognized by the FCI in 1996.
