When in a fight, APBTs and other pit bulls fight almost without making a sound. Usually, they don’t even bark or growl – they just jump at each other and fight in a bloody mess until they’re broken apart. This is even more evidence that pit bulls fight on instinct, not aggression – barking and growling are signs of aggression, and they’re usually absent from a pit bullfight. The reason we include this in our Pitbull Facts list is that you should always keep an eye on these dogs when they are around another dog. Regardless of how well educated and good you are in the first place, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
