#13 Labradors are funny
Labradors make us laugh. It doesn't matter whether they jump around the apartment like crazy, chase their tails or sit like royalty on the vacuum cleaner robot. I bet your Labrador makes you laugh at least once a day.
#14 Labradors provide employment
Many of us live very busy lives. Work, family, and hobbies have to be reconciled. But some people, especially when they're retired or the kids are out of the house, feel like life is missing something.
When you have a Labrador there is always something to do. You never have to ask yourself the question "What could I do next?". If a Labrador is part of your life, he will answer this question for you: walk, play, feed, brush, cuddle, parent, train, etc.
#15 Labradors encourage us to learn new things
When you share your life with a Labrador, you are also a dog trainer. How far and extensively you take on this role is up to you. You must learn at least the basics of being a dog trainer in order to have a healthy dog and an organized home.
If you enjoy teaching your Labrador a few simple commands (which every dog should learn), you may find that you want to do more.
Training is a great experience and spending quality time with your Labrador will strengthen your bond with him.
