Which Cat Breeds Feel Comfortable in the Apartment?

Not everyone can give their velvet paw free rein. But some cat breeds are wonderfully suited to be kept indoors and don’t miss the garden.

Some cat breeds are so adventurous and active that they become miserable if left outside. Others, however, are considered to be quiet, frugal people who can also have a great time indoors.

Cat Breeds for Kept in the Apartment

Most western cat breeds tend to be easy-going personalities. The Scottish Fold Shorthair or the British Shorthair, for example, can usually be kept well in the apartment. This also applies to the cuddly Ragdoll cat or the elegant Russian Blue. Karl Lagerfeld’s sweet Choupette, as the Sacred Birman cat, is also one of the fluffy balls that are suitable for the home.
You can also train the Persian cat, the Turkish Angora cat, and the gentle Maine Coon cat to live indoors.

Employ Velvet Paw in the Apartment

Even if the cat breeds mentioned feel comfortable without an outdoor run, they need activity and company. If you often have to leave your furry friend alone during the day, you should provide it with a playmate. In the garden, the velvet paws could meet with conspecifics from the neighborhood, but indoor cats do not have this opportunity.

A great scratching post with climbing opportunities, cuddly caves, sleeping hollows, and viewing platforms is part of it so that your furry friends can also discover and experience a lot in the apartment. In addition, the house tiger appreciates a cozy place on the window sill and perhaps an occasional trip to the secure balcony.
