What I Wish I Knew When I Got My First Puppy!

When you stand there with your very first puppy, many thoughts and feelings pass through the body. You want to do the right thing so that the dog life becomes as wonderful and wonderful as you dreamed of!

But there are many different schools and opinions on what to do when raising, managing, and spending time with your dog. Many are eager to share good advice – more or less successful, some may even be completely reprehensible. But one thing is for sure, they are rarely based on exactly how YOU and YOUR PUPPY work. After all, we are individuals.

New Research

There is also constantly new research, new training methods and so on that will help us understand the dogs better so we can get that great interaction we strive for. Many training methods that were common 10-20 years ago take basically all serious dog connoisseurs a certain distance from today.

Hopefully, we will also become wiser over the years and through the experiences that dogs we have owned or met give us. What do you wish you had known or done when you got your first puppy? Do you wish you had been more careful with the solitude training, planned better for backup if you should get sick, read more about your breed, or maybe your advice is to take the dog training and upbringing with a lot of humor?
