Dachshund became the first cloned dog. 12-year-old Vinnie became the winner of the competition (more precisely, his owner won) and was cloned by South Korean scientists. They took care of the puppy for five months and then sent him back to his homeland. The owner claims that Mini-Winnie (this is the name of the new dog) is not only outwardly a copy of his "ancestor", but he has the same habits as old Winnie, he is healthy and there is no reason to believe that the dog will not live a long and happy life ... All dachshunds deserve such a life!
