Due to its calm character and loyalty, the Mexican Hairless Dog is an ideal family dog. While Xolo’s are family-friendly dogs, they will always like their primary caregiver a little more than family members.
You should be careful with small children, as they can sometimes react a little unplanned. They also usually behave calmly and deliberately with other animals, such as cats. They do not use their own strength to the detriment of “weaker” ones.
They are very attached to their master or mistress and are rather skeptical of strangers.
