You will never get bored with Curly, he becomes the clown of the family, who needs a lot of exercises and a high level of brain stimulation. It grows slowly and is not fully grown until it is three years old.
Note: Combined with his high intelligence and independence, his slow growth means that training will take a great deal of time and patience, but training with him is also a lot of fun and will bring the dog closer to you!
The Curly’s friendliness makes them perfect for families, although they can be a bit shy around strangers. They need a lot of love, need their family, and would not be suitable for kennel keeping, for example.
They also have a strong guard and protective instinct. They are perfect playmates for children and at the same time show great tolerance and gentleness towards children.
In addition to his friendly character, Curly also needs enough workload because he is very spirited and willing to work. However, if this is given, for example through fetching, welding, herding sheep, pulling dog sleds, rescue work, or dummy training, he becomes a loyal and affectionate partner who is very enthusiastic about new challenges.
