Golden Retrievers are medium-sized dogs – that alone means: These dogs need a lot of exercises. If you then consider that they were originally bred as hunting dogs, it becomes clear: these dogs want to be kept busy.
Your four-legged friend will love it when he runs, swims, or is mentally challenged. Even a lot of exercise (important: don’t always walk the same route, that will quickly bore your dog!) doesn’t fully utilize your Golden.
