#13 A true, purebred Bolognese has a pure white or at most ivory coat color without spots or markings.
Its fur is somewhat curly, very long on the body from the head over the legs to the tail, and shorter on the nose. The Bolognese has hardly any undercoat. He does not change his coat in the cold and warm summer months but always has a constant coat density.
#14 With appropriate care, the fur feels extremely soft and does not lie close to the body, but is fluffy.
Frayed fur develops with insufficient or incorrect grooming and should be avoided. A Bolognese does not usually shed and if it does, it is hardly noticed.
