#14 Translated directly from German, “Affenpinscher” literally means “monkey that bites,” or more commonly translated as “monkey terrier.”

#15 Affenpinscher is called “Diablotin Moustachu” in French, which means “mustachioed imp”. Many believe that the translation gives an accurate picture of these frisky, eager to please you little dogs.
