Hachiko is an Akita Inu who lived with the owner, a scientist who went to work in the city every day. The faithful dog accompanied the owner to the station and returned home, and in the evening he came to meet him. And the dog for the next 9 years continued to go to the station twice a day and wait for the owner. The old dog died of cancer and heart disease, causing great grief. After the news of the death in Japan, in fact, national mourning was declared, and a monument was erected in honor of this extraordinary dog at the Shibuya station.
