Which aquarium fish go together?
Mailed catfish are recommended for socialization and, depending on the water parameters, female fighting fish, danios, emperor tetras, transverse banded pike and dwarf gouramis. But also catfish and shrimp get along with the guppies.
What fish go well with platys and neons?
When selecting ornamental fish, care should be taken that they do not regard neon tetras as prey and have similar housing requirements. Suitable fish for socialization are, for example, platies, guppies, catfish, and other tetra species.

What fish get along with platys?
The platy is very unobtrusive when it comes to fishing other species, it is generally a friend of harmonious coexistence. There are no difficulties with guppies, catfish, armored catfish or snails. The fish can reproduce with the swordtail and parrot platys.
How many platys do you have to keep as a minimum?
Platys live in groups in the wild and should also be kept in a group of at least five members of the same species in the aquarium.

Remedy can create small hiding places by planting. Peaceful animals such as guppies or puckfish are suitable for socializing with other species. Tetras and danios can also be added to the aquarium with the trichogasters.

112 liters is the minimum size you need in an aquarium for keeping dwarf gouramis. You should put a maximum of one pair in such a tank. If the aquarium is larger, you can keep two males and a maximum of three females.

Size. In the aquarium, a gourami can reach up to 11 cm, rarely in very large aquariums a little more (up to 13 cm).
What fish Cannot live with angelfish?
As a rule, avoid keeping Angelfish with fish that like to nip at the fins of other fish like Barbs and some species of Tetras. Also, as I mentioned in some cases, it’s best to introduce smaller tank mates while your angelfish are still small and young, so they’re less likely to see other species as food.

The aquarium size depends on how many fish you plan to have. For a 29-gallon community tank, keep no more than four adult angelfish with other tank mates. For a 55-gallon tank, start with five or six juvenile angelfish and be prepared to remove some in the future if they get too territorial.

How fast do Zebra Plecos grow?
They’re slow growers and unless you pay them a lot of attention in terms of feeding, space, and water quality, getting them to grow more than 1cm every 6-8 weeks will be a challenge. Zebra plecs are now bred in commercial numbers and these turn out beautiful clean fish in number.
What size tank does a Zebra Pleco need?
A 20-gallon tank will work just fine for one Zebra Pleco, yet, a 30-gallon one will provide more space for the fish to swim and explore. Don’t let its relatively small size trick you into getting a small tank, though. This fish needs its space and will be much happier when it can swim to its heart content.
