#10 The name of the breed comes from the language of the Lingala people in the Congo, mbwá na basɛ́nzi, which means “forest dogs”, but it has several other names: forest creature, forest dog from Congo, Zande dog, bongo terrier, Congo terrier, nyam-nyam -terrier.

#11 If something interesting happens, then out of curiosity, the Basenji can stand on their hind legs, and stand so without support.

#12 They can wash with their paws like cats.
